Terms and conditions

This is a convenience translation. Only the German version is legally binding.

Note: passages marked [BITTE ERGÄNZEN] must be completed before going live.

§ 1 Scope

These terms apply to all review services of [BITTE ERGÄNZEN] (“AmicusProof”) for consumers and businesses.

§ 2 Conclusion of contract

A request via the website is not yet a contract. We send you an offer; the contract is concluded when you accept it. No payment takes place on the website.

§ 3 Own or authorised systems only

Reviews may only be ordered for systems that belong to the client or for which the client has the owner's explicit permission. The client confirms this when requesting and in writing on request. Active reviews – anything beyond fetching public pages – are carried out only after this confirmation.

The free quick check only passively fetches publicly reachable pages.

§ 4 Scope of services

We review under the public AP-26 catalogue in its current version. The result is a review report with a grade. A review is a snapshot and cannot guarantee that a system is free of vulnerabilities.

§ 5 “AmicusProof Verified” seal

“AmicusProof Verified” is AmicusProof's own review standard and not an official or government certification. The seal may only be used for the reviewed project and within its validity period. It links to a public proof page and automatically shows “expired” once it lapses.

§ 6 Prices and payment

Builder prices include statutory VAT; team prices are net plus VAT. Invoices are due within 14 days.

§ 7 Term and cancellation

The Companion plan can be cancelled monthly at month end. Team and Compliance packages run for the term stated in the offer.

§ 8 Confidentiality and data

We treat findings and code confidentially. Code is processed only for the review and deleted afterwards, no AI training.

§ 9 Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to foreseeable, typical damage.

§ 10 Consumer right of withdrawal

[BITTE ERGÄNZEN] Insert withdrawal notice and model withdrawal form.

§ 11 Final provisions

German law applies. Place of jurisdiction for businesses is [BITTE ERGÄNZEN].
